Select
With the Select tool, you can use your mouse, or graphic tablet and pen, to select drawing objects in the Drawing View or the Camera View.

If you press [Command] when the mouse pointer is outside a selection, your mouse pointer becomes a lasso that you can use to draw free-form selection marks around drawing objects.

Press [Option] to copy as you drag.
Use one of the following methods to activate the Select tool:

Select Tools > Drawing Tools > Select.

Click the Select
tool on the Drawing Tools toolbar.
If the Select tool is visible in the Drawing Tools toolbar, press [1] to activate it.

Press [Command] when using any of the following tools to switch temporarily to the Select tool: Zoom, Polyline, Line, Rectangle, Ellipse, Brush, Pencil, Eraser, Stroke, Close Gap, Paint, Paint Unpainted, Unpaint, Dropper, Edit Texture and Grabber.

Press [Shift]+[1], the default keyboard shortcut.
